Chess Table

A chess table serves both functional and decorative purposes. They are ideal when crowded or cluttered areas and homes make available table space for playing chess very hard to come by. Also, there are so many different styles available, that finding one to match or enhance your house décor isn’t difficult.

Most often chess tables are made of wood, but other popular materials include stained glass, marble, glass, etc. Some tables have a look similar to a coffee table, while others have a unique pedestal look. Most will have the chess board right in the table to make setting up easy. Also, many feature some type of drawer to conveniently store the chess pieces.

Keep in mind that the use of a chess table is not limited to strictly playing chess. Most use their table as an overall game table for playing cards, checkers and other board games. Tables, like boards and sets, are available in a wide range of costs to fit a wide range of budgets and incomes.
